    Self Aware

The first story here with Adam and Alanna is probably the best one thus far, as they confront a rampaging self-aware planet which intends to conquer Rann.  Faced with the threat of this planet they reason with it but then it must make a decision which is a bit deeper than what one would expect from the silver age.  The next feature is a Giants of the Telescope about Warren de la Rue.  The second story doesn’t veer too much away from the usual for the series, with a far-fetched plot and not much logic to back it up.  It at least has a happy (and somewhat romantic ending though).  The final story is a common enough one, and maybe a bit similar to some of Dick’s work (some of which might have been contemporary with this) as an android and a human come to blows to find out who will survive an accident.  I would say that at this point 60 issues in that this has been the best issue of the entire series thus far.
