Don't come around here no more
The first story here as always revolves around Lyle and his adventures as a member of the Knights of the Galaxy. In one of the staples of golden age fiction he is made to become an outcast from the Knights after being irradiated (and Ora seems to have developed some feelings for him.) Of course this all lends itself to confronting the villain Rax, and afterwards Lyle returns to the Knights with a too convenient and cheesy reason to shake the radiation poisoning. The second story is actually a better one than has been in the series thus far. Once again focusing on radiation (in this case a plutonium bomb) it deals with a scientist that is being threatened by spacefarers on a spaceship but it has an interesting twist ending. The third story is a more standard one where the time travel runs amuk with modern day New York city being invaded by denizens of the past. A stars and their legends panel then focuses on Andromeda and another fact page about Saturn. The next story is different in context to others thus far in the series as it is pro-war and pro-colonization. This one was not as strong with some convenient plot twists for the hero of the story. Finally there is a page on the history of the knowledge of the Earth's place in the cosmos. Overall this issue could probably be said to be the best of the first five even though some of the stories were only mediocre.
