razzatazz's Mystery in Space #39 review

    Coming in pieces

By this point of the series it has definitely turned towards a focus of alien invasions.  The first story is somewhat contrived but still pulled off in the end (though it features the scene featured on the cover.)   The second story involves another case of an Earthman posing as an enemy sympathizer though this one has a more interesting driving force behind it.  Next a short information page tells where scientific names came from.  A Mysteries in Space page next looks at some space oddities and statistics.  The next story is a kind of convoluted one for the Space Cabbie, involving time travel.  Wonder of Space next explores comet hunters.  The last story is more alien invasion, just I am not sure how or why it would have worked, or how or why the Earth manged to stop it.  Too much invasion here for my liking, should be more actual science fiction.
