    Myra Hancock is a British comics artist and writer. She started off by drawing and publishing the indie comicMyra, which featuredan autobiographical stripbyAlan Moorepublished in 1986, and selling the issues from a stall in Camden Market. (All the copies ofMyrahave been hand-bound into a hardback book to be preserved forever in the British Library.) She also wrote and drew for indie comics magazineEscape. ForCrisisHancock wroteSticky Fingers(with artistDavid Hine), and for theRevolver Romance Specialshe wroteOnce Smitten. She collaborated with Hine again when she wroteTao de Motofor2000 AD. She has since dropped out of sight.
