While Twilight and her friends clean up Celestia and Luna's old castle, Spike feeling left out and not needed goes to read the rest of his comic until he comes to a blank page with a little inscription in the bottom corner. After using a magnifying glass to read it Spike and the others are transported to the city to Maretropolis where they become the "Power Ponies" and spike becomes their sidekick "Humdrum". Spike then tells them in order for them to return home they must stop the Mane-iac.
