Ms. Marvel

Character » Ms. Marvel appears in 2012 issues.

After encountering the Kree hero Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was accidentally subjected to otherworldly radiation that transformed her into a superhuman warrior. Calling herself Ms. Marvel, she established herself as one of Marvel's most powerful and prominent heroes both as a solo heroine and as a member of the Avengers.

I'm sorry to say this but she's not ready to date.

I don't mean the character as a character in the Marvel Universe. I mean as a franchise and a brand, Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel could not survive well if she dated someone like Spiderman or Ironman who's brand is larger and more well known. The threat of her character becoming a supporting member of another major Marvel character's story is very real when people try to push a Captain Marvel/Spider-man/Ironman/<Insert any other major Marvel character here>

The character as it stands, is far too new in the position she's in.

I agree shes better off waiting for some one she really likes rather then settling for Spider-Man or Tony, or Captain by default. Shes better off waiting for some Demi God or Kree dude that she meshes with alot better then any of the main avengers.

Really absolutely no reason to rush it. I'd rather she be independent and let her brand build as Captain Marvel then push into another ill fated comic romance that would outshine what she is currently.

The thing is, Carol wears the pants in her and Pete's relationship. She's the pilot and he rides shotgun. She picks the restaraunt and picks up the check. She won't even wait on his web-swinging... She'll just pick him up and carry him. I don't think he'd outshine her, especially when he has to hide behind her when the bullets start flying. No, if anything, she take him down a peg.

I am in no rush to see a Peter Parker x Carol Danvers relationship develop into a romantic one either. This is why they should stay at the PALS level. But the type of relationship that Peter has with Carol should be expanded to include a diverse mix of other heroines like Black Widow, Spider-Woman, She-Hulk, and Psylocke. If Marvel would add a few other heroines into the mix, then no one would be bothered with Peter x Carol too much as he would have other heroines to develop his friendship with that some of us wouldn't mind seeing.

Truth.

I agree. Keep her single for a while to let her flourish in her new role.
