Most of Hollywood women do not have the body to pull off these comic characters. Especially Ms Marvel. So it depends on what you are going for. Are you wanting the best actress, the closes in facial appearence, or the best body. Some of these ladies kinda have the face and hair. A white chick with blond hair. I could be Ms Marvel. lol. But Not sure if they could pull it off, meaning be the total package.
I'd have to go with Ms Theron on this one. She's a great actress, I think she's got the body and the look.
Katherine Heigle. NO no no....Please!

Beyonce has the body for it but 1) she is not that good of an actress, and 2) You know too many people would have a cow if you cast Ms Marvel as ... not white. Not me. I have said before that the characters ethnicity does not matter to me unless it is specific to the story ( ie: a Japanese Emporer or an African Princess).

@castleking: Yeah, I agree. She's, like, one of the only super heroines whose breasts don't always defy gravity. I think Sackhoff could do it. (And not because of the breasts, I was just backing up the drawing idea lol! :P )

I'd like to see this movie get made, but like the original poster said, it's probably not going to happen, which is really sad. I think Marvel needs to throw itself out there and green light a straight up super heroine movie, imo. I think they'd be pleasantly surprised at how well it does. It's like they see Catwoman as the rule, not the exception, when it comes to super heroine movies. Catwoman was bad on so many levels it's hard to see how someone could screw up that badly again. Just someone PLEASE. TRY a super heroine movie!

Awesome point. Hollywood only seems to want a Barbie that can throw a couple of punches behind a green screen. Ms. Marvel is amazing. Although I'm a bigger fan of Rogue and will always be, I have to say that if this movie does it made someday-I hope they can really provide a great outline of how beautiful, strong, and independent this character really is in the comics. (i.e. Like what Catwoman should of been like on the big screen, but failed to provide.) It would be awesome to see little girls running around pretending to be Ms. Marvel or Wonder Woman again and not say Hannah Montana or the future bride of one of the Jonas Brothers.

I would like to see this movie made, but I don"t want an ugly woman playing her either, but I've got hope that Marvel will do the fan's right, after seeing Iron Man (1 and what has been show of 2) and Hulk, I think Marvel knows what will work and what won't.

Out of all the entries I've seen, I must say:
Charlize Theron (My first thought when I saw this thread)
Katherine Heigl (I think she would be a good runner up)
Ali Larter (Woulld also make a good choice, IMHO)

Off Topic: I been recently thinking things like this, and although it chages the subject a little I think Ivanka Trump would be the best choice (at least model) for Silver Sable and Sophia Vargas could play Catwoman. I know the latter isn't White, but damn-it if she ain't sexy!!!

@RedAce83: I think Erin Cummings could be an awesome Moonstone. She was great in Bitch Slap, and she's got this way of talking that makes her sound like a completely logical psychopath... she reminds me a lot of a female version of Heath Ledger's Joker.
