The war of the Marvels story thus far has been a very unique and thoroughly entertaining read and I must say one of my personal favourite stories of the last year.
It continues the story straight after the previous issue with a conversation between Norman Osborn and Moonstone both trying to figure out what has just happened (at the end of last issue).
The art in this issue is just amazing; Sana Takeda has once again done a fantastic job with bringing the story and all the characters to life. Personally I really love Sana’s art; it’s a great mix of Anime and Western style art. The cover art, also done by Sana, is just as aesthetically pleasing as the internal art and really stands out on the shelf.
The story, written by Brian Reed, is just as enjoyable as the art and I found myself completely immersed in the story from start to finish
Overall this issue is fantastic, the art is brilliant, the writing is great, and the story leaves the reader wanting more, I would really recommend picking up this issue or any of the Moonstone/Ms Marvel issues.

I like this issue so much; I love the art design, the storyline, and conversation between characters, Carol Danvers (who's calling herself Catherine Donovan, a screenwriter) inner thoughts, the suspense, it was all good. Karla (Moonstone, who is the current Ms. Marvel) can't help but feel something was wrong when Ms.Marvel getting hit by a pumpkin bomb with ease, telling Osborn something was off and was eager to kill her every chance she had. I loved the part when one of the soldiers was being attacked by Ms. Marvel screaming "for the love of God, someone send backup". Like I said, I love the art design because both Carol and Karla look REALLY SEXY in this one. These guy's did a great job on this issue, though the rest of the New Avengers wasn't present this was enough excitment for me.

This chapter of the “War of the Marvels” story definitely brings the excitement and drama that’s been lacking for almost a half dozen issues. There’s a bit more depth to the story as more clues are presented and discovered by the evil Ms. Marvel, Dr. Karla Sofen, who still comes off as a raging, murderous sociopath, not the malicious, but supremely intelligent woman fans had grown to love to hate in the past. For the most part, Sana Takeda’s art holds up from start to finish complimenting the plot dialogue of Brian Reed. It appears that the real Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), has indeed come back to life, but she’s been split in two – her Kree heroine personality, and her human personality literally taking on lives of their own. What I found surprising is that the human Carol didn’t have her Air Force or spy training and was forced to flee the Dark Avengers instead of confronting them. Apparently this identity of Catherine Donovan is Carol’s fondest wish, but it seems so unlike the heroine to subconsciously want to remain helpless. I’ll admit, as a die-hard Ms. Marvel, I found this disappointing, but after mulling the issue over, it makes sense for Carol to want to be completely normal after the turbulous life she’s lead. It makes one think that Carol may not want the life of superheroine if it is indeed presented to her at the end of this tale in what seems a natural merging of both Carol personalities.
