Despite more than one artist this issue, the story flowed nicely, albeit being brief. There seems to be a couple of mysteries happening at once, involving several characters from the Marvel Universe, not just the current (all-bad) Ms. Marvel, Dr. Karla Sofen. A.I.M., an army of scientists and regular foes of former Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) are trying to recapture their "Storyteller" babies, experiments of theirs that can change reality with psychic powers. In this quest, AIM's Scientist Supreme, Monica Rappaccini, hires mercenary, Deadpool, to aquire their subjects. Said subjects are in possesion of Sofen and another faction of AIM. But there's also this bizarre energy female searching for the Storytellers who finds herself in conflict with Sofen and the Dark Avengers. Meanwhile, the same energy female (well, maybe the same, she's a different color) appears to Spider-Man elsewhere in New York City, then another shows up in current new Avengers headquarters to Wolverine and Luke Cage. The only clues these energy beings reveal is that they are indeed powerful (cool battle between her and Ms. Marvel and Iron Patriot), and the blazing lightning bolt she leaves as a calling card. Is the real Ms. Marvel who apparently died in issue #37? Hopefully next issue will have the answer!

Despite all this fun, THE best scene was Wolverine playing with Danielle, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones' baby girl. That's all I'm going to say -- !
