    Origin

    While on a fishing trip with her husband and their two kids, Joey and Mandy, Mrs. Abernathy was exposed to a meteor that gave her and her family super-powers

    Creation

    Mrs. Abernathy was created by Chuck Austen and Ron Garney for their story arc Pain of the Gods. She appeared in two issues but was never given a first name.

    Major Story Arcs

    Pain of the Gods

    Mrs. Abernathy blames Clinton industry for the death of her husband. She later tries to get revenge against their CEO but is talked out of it by the JLA.

    Powers & Abilities

    The skillset she picked up from the meteor's rays granted her increased strength, energy vision and incredible speed. To the point which the Flash couldn't even keep track of her, stating it may have been something other than accelerated locomotion pushing her forward.
