    He is constantly cutting himself with the same knife he kills people with, not to mention he has been seen licking his knife too.

    I think her point was that he used it to kill others as well, so there could potentially be infected blood on it when he cuts himself with it.

    @Shadowdoggy: people get AIDS all the time from sharing needles for doing drugs. so if you were to cut yourself with a knife with an infected persons blood on it you would also get AIDS.

This data should transfer to knives as well. In addtion, someone with HIV would have needed to cut themselves with the knife causing their blood to be on the object. Then, you would need to cut yourself in a relatively short period of time as the HIV virus is not a particularly strong virus once it is exposed to the environment and dies quickly."

    @Shadowdoggy: In any comic I've seen Zsasz has cut his victim and then cut himself right after doing so. Even if not HIV or AIDS he could always contract another infection.
