@fatman10000: He is more powerful than members of his own race. Like Thor is for asgardians.

That's mostly true. He's physically more powerful than pretty much all of them, but the High Lords (the elder types) seem to have greater psychic, and probably energy, powers.

The real answer to the question is that they've become less violent. At one point a single group of them conquered numerous worlds and had whole galaxies terrified of them, but their culture shifted to become less bloodthirsty so that group was exiled. Now they spend their time warping reality for fun and playing politics. Another thing to mention is that their influence is greater than is realized. The way they spread across space is by sending ships full of their dna onto other planets as they're forming and then when the native race develops, the creates the kherubim race and then they make the natives their slaves. That's how they used to function anyway, that may have changed.

Wasn't it cause of the Deamonite war? Could be wrong though, just thought I'd ask anyways.

@ReVamp: It's possible that after they ended the war their desire to conquer others really died down, but they exiled Sebastian (the leader of the galaxy conquerors) before that it seems so they were over it before the war and the daemonites were the last ones to really get that treatment. however, the reason for the war was because thousands of years before the machines that spread the kherubim race landed on their planet and tried to make them slaves and they fought back.

Kherans also have a really low birthrate. Ridiculously low. I think this is likely why the Daemonite war lasted so long.

To elaborate on what others have said, most Kherans develop a few powers. Majestic is the only one that has manifested pretty much all of their powers. He's a Kheran freak of nature. I like that concept a lot better than the Kryptonian one where everyone is basically Superman. A race like that would just dominate everything and there's no way a single planet, Krypton, could hold such a super race. Krypton blows up and there should still be a galaxy of Superman types on every planet with a yellow sun.
