Zoltan Drago was the first to use the name Mr. Fear. He was later killed by Star Saxon.
Next was Starr Saxon who took the mantle. Saxon died in a battle with daredevil, but his mind is what Machinesmith is based on.
The third Mr. Fear was a classmate in law school of Daredevil's, Larry Cranston. He holds a grudge with Daredevil. Cranston turned down the Hoods offer to join. He has recently shown-up in issues of Daredevil.
The fourth was Larry Cranston's nephew, Alan Fagan. Fagan was among the villains that escaped the Raft prison the night the New Avengers formed.
Recently, Fagon took the Hoods offer to join his gang when his uncle refused.
Powers: Uses fear pheromone administered by gas pellets or occasionally by a syringe.
