On Earth-9997, Reed and Captain Universe went on to become the new Eternity. Together they ventured into the depths of space in order to save Galactus (who was actually his son Franklin) from The Celestials and The Elders of The Universe. Captain Universe also gave Reed a very special gift long before that happened when he aided Mar-Vell, Alicia Masters and The Soul Gem ressurected his deceased wife Susan whose soul was placed in a new body Alicia Masters created from his own arm. On Earth-616, Reed tried to help cure Captain Universe's ailment but was unsuccessful. He did determine that an outside force was responsible however for the problems Captain Universe was having. Reed also encountered and convinced The Law Enforcement Squad's Captain Universe that The Fantastic Four were not their enemies...right before Captain Universe was struck down by an alternate reality Nova (Frankie Raye) who was secretly working for Eternity's nemesis and anthesis: Abraxas.

Comet Man helped Reed with his knowledge of comets, Reed in turn gave Comet Man energy cuffs to control his abilities. Trusted ally.

Frankie Raye was a young girl accidentally given the powers of the android human torch, which inspired her to volunteer to be a herald of Galactus.

Hyperstorm is the alternate reality son of Rachel Summers and Franklin Richards. He has his father's genius and his parents awesome power. He may be the most powerful mutant to have ever existed.

Reed Richards is married to Susan and is also Mr. Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four. Together they have a son named Franklin and a daughter named Valeria. Sue fell in love with Reed at the tender age of 12, when they both resided in her aunt's boarding house.

He is an adolescent version of Kang the Conqueror, armed with a bio-metal suit that responds to mental commands. He is responsible for assembling the Young Avengers.

Colonet Nick Fury started his military career commanding a group of highly trained, highly motivated soldiers called the "Howling Commandos" in World War 2. The Howling Commandos were an elite unit and were very successful during the war carrying out many secret missions for the US Government. On top of being a great leader, Nick was also an Ace pilot. He has flown many missions during World War 1, and was already considered a war hero. At the end of World War 2 in Europe, Nick was severly injured by a landmine while carrying out missions in France. He was later healed by Berthold Sternberg who was a scientist. Sternberg created the Infinity Forumla and used Nick as a test subject. After recovering, Nick began working for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), which was a precursor of the Central Intelligence Agency, (CIA). While he was in the CIA, he learned the true effects of the Infinity Formula. The formula slowed his aging. He needed regular doses of this formula to survive. So Sternberg extorted money from Nick for the annual doses. He eventually gained control of the formula from Sternberg and put a stop the the extortion. While in the CIA Nick was highly successful as a field agent gathering info in Korea, Russia, and many other countries the US deemed necessary. He was considered to be the best field agent the US had to offer. Because of his success, Nick was recruited by Tony Stark to be the leader of SHIELD. SHIELD was originally formed to stop the terrorist organization known as the Hydra. Since the formation of SHIELD, Nick has battled many enemies both cosmic and domestic. Nick Fury has enlisted many heroes to aid him in defeating all threats to not only the US, but the World itself. Heroes such as Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Punisher, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, and even the Hulk on occasion. Nick has many enemies being the leader of SHIELD, they are the police and watch dogs for the US Government. Currently during the Civil War, Nick has dissapeared while Tony Starks has taken over the leadership role for SHIELD. No one knows of his whereabouts.
