Cover The cover art is pretty good but the cover did not make me excited because one character that never made me excited to learn more was with Hunter. Story Hunter makes a date with Casey at five. The only problem is that every time Hunter sees the time he always sees 8:13. So, he asks Jun to tell him when 5 comes that way he will not be late for his date. Synopsis: When Hunter asks Casey on a date, things don't go as planed afterward. What's Good? I'm really liking how Nick Spencer is focusing on the other characters and what strange abilities they have. Issue #8 explores with Hunter's character. Unlike Zoe's in the previous issue, Hunter really seems like an average likeable guy. That's why I found the pages with him asking Casey out on a date interesting. Hunter Becomes the Hunted 1
The Good: That cover really offset me with what to expect. It seems like these next few issues are spotlighting one character at a time, getting into their backstories and such, thus, this cover lead me to expect some kind of childhood abuse, but the cover means something else entirely. Hunter has to be one of my favorite characters in this series. I see SO MUCH of myself in him. I even have practically the same hair! From helping his brother get into comics, reading Morrison, being somewhat awk...
