Casey is a person to be reckoned with 1

Cover I love the cover for this issue. I think the art is great and really shows what this issue is about. Story One of the instructors is talking about the school and how every student has a destiny but, we just do not know who he is talking to because the artist does not show. Back were last issue left off Ike betrayed Casey, Hunter, and Zoe. Hunter makes an explosion that way Zoe and Casey could escape but, Hunter is unconscious from the blast. Zoe and Casey run up the ladder to escape and th...

Casey steals the show once again 1

Now that Ike has sold out the gang to Miss Daramount, how will the Casey and her friends save Jade, let alone escape Daramount clutches?  Pros: The beginning made me think that Mr. Gribbs was talking to someone different. I won't spoil on who he was talking to, but it's definitely a great setup to what took place in this issue. So...yea, Ike was revealed to be the traitor in the group (Too obvious),  Yeah, he's a real bastard. and the gang is in a difficult position. Casey however, does have ...

    Morning Glories #5 2

The first arc of the topnotch series concludes in a most satisfying manner, though no so satisfyingly for Ike...  The Good The cover by Esquejo, as always, is excellent and Sollazzo's vibrant colors really give it a dynamic feel. If you've read my reviews you'll know I'm always a fan of covers reflecting the contents within and this one does so quite effectively.   The issue opens with Mr. Gribbs talking to an unknown student about the purpose, goals, and lofty ideals of the Morning Glory Academ...

    Casey's plan takes off! 0

Wow, how awesome was this issue? It had so many shocking moments that made my jaw drop. We find out what the plan really was, and how Casey actually succeeded in it. It was also interesting to see Zoe’s reaction when she comes in contact with…whatever that thing is, and she also recognizes him. Jade is also back now, but is she the same old Jade? She seems different and perkier. Ike deserved what he got from Casey, and I also like how Hunter and Casey’s relationship was getting closer. Overall, ...

This Issue Was Awesome... Until the End 0

So Morning Glories finally managed to pull off a really cool issue. Both the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' were clever and had several tricks up their sleeves.Casey, leads an escape attempt, but then is betrayed by Ike. But that's just the beginning. Meanwhile, throughout the story, Mr. Gribbs is lecturing 'toward camera' - in other words, giving us a first person point of view from the perspective of some unknown person (presumably a student), whose identity isn't revealed until the end, which...
