All for one or everyone look after their own self?
Casey hatches a plan to save Jade.
Pros:
Except for Jade's character, character development plays a huge role in this issue. Besides Casey, I'm starting to like each character even more despite their personalities . Zoe is still a snob (but a likable one, especially when she told Megan "F**k you"), Ike is still a bastard, but smart one, Jun is still the quiet one who probably knows more than he lets on, and Hunter is still optimistic. While Casey is the determined to save Jade, the others aren't exactly on board with her plan. The way Casey set her plan in motion without the Morning Glory staff really catching on was genius. Also, these kids had some weird activities before coming to Morning Glory. The ending came off as a twist as one member of the group rats on the gang and it's not that surprising on who it is.
Again, I love Rodin Esquejo's art cover with this issue. Joe Elisma's artwork with this issue is great as well with the characters and backgrounds. But I should give a shoutout to Alex Sollazzo's coloring for bring it to life.
Cons:
Like with the other past issues, more and more questions keep coming up than the answers. This isn't necessarily a problem, but the more questions that show up, the more I feel that the all the answers will come out way too quickly. A small hint maybe?
Overall: So what now? I don't think Morning Glories Academy can give out the same kind of detention like in issue 2 or actually suspend or expel their students like w normal schools would. Whatever happens, I can't wait to find out.
