    Time And the God 1

    Casey's a late bloomer. This issue is a blend of continuing the current arc, and finally giving Casey a character focus issue after skipping her in the character focus arc. Scenes of her in the present...... well, the present for her which is the past... Scenes of her in the present are juxtaposed amazingly alongside scenes from her in the past. The story is constantly transitioning between the two with the raw efficiency of Archer, replacing the comedic wordplay with tension building wordplay. ...

    Synopsis: Meanwhile, Casey and Miss Hodge...As much as I want to learn what happens with Hunter and Zoe in the previous issue, Nick Spencer switches over to Casey and Miss Hodge. Last we saw Casey and the lovely Miss Hodge, they somehow traveled back in time. Now, time traveling isn't anything new to comics, but it's what this issue brings to it that changes the concept of time traveling.But before I get into that, I want to talk about Casey.
