I decided to look into reading MoonKnight can anyone recommend some good runs and also a good starting point for someone who knows absolutely nothing about this character at all?

How big is your budget?

@k4tzm4n: I don't think that will be a problem atm. I've got a good income for the moment.

New stuff/ Vengeance Of The Moon Knight/Bendis' run that just ended

I think most people would agree that the 2006 Moon Knight series that relaunched the character was the best

Go for the 2006 run. The Bottom, Midnight Sun, God & Country, The Death of Marc Spector, and Down South are all great. Steer clear of Bendis' run whatever you do. It was a serious blight on the character.

I don't understand what Bendis did so different. I will say I had higher expectations for those 12 issues.

but if your looking for the beginning try the Essential Moon Knight TPBs, it's easier than finding all the issues and Moonknight works in B&W.

I'd also say the first 30 issues of Mark Spector: Moon Knight, everything up to scarlet redemption. Steer clear of Terry Kavanaugh's run, terrible. You can get them pretty cheap per issue on amazon, unfortunately they are not collected.
