Moon Knight, Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley: four different aspects of the same man, who was resurrected by Khonshu, the Egyptian Lunar-God of Vengeance and Justice, to serve as his "avatar", and perform various acts of vengeance and justice on unjust mortals.
So, I've been reading mixed reviews for the Shadowland: Moon Knight 3 issue mini series and was wondering what you guys thought of it(The first two issues, at least). I, myself, am enjoying it, but have do have some problems with it. I really enjoyed the first issue, except for the fact that it seemed like they used Marlene as a generic plot device. The second issue, however, felt a little disorganized IMO. It was kind of inconsistent, and went back and forth from Hells Kitchen to Jake's estate to Shadow Night to a flashback and it was just confusing and headache inducing. I'm a big Moon Knight fan, but issue two of Shadowland: Moon Knight was a tad disappointing for me. What did you guys think?
The second issue was totally disorganized. I don't remember seeing a single instant of Moon Kinght fighting Daredevil in the main series. Even just showing them in the background fighting would have got me to believe it actually happened and they explored it more in the mini-series. And why the hell does Khonshu have a Bird's head?? I haven't kept up with the recent cancled series because it's hard to get my comic owner says.
@JoeRiccadonna: Hopefully issue 3 will prove to be more well executed. The recent series(Vengeance) was pretty good. I really enjoyed the first six issues, but after that the series was a little lackluster, although issue 10 was enjoyable. Whatever the case, the series was recently canceled anyway.Hopefully that new Bendis/Maleev series next year will be good.
I liked them a lot so far but I agree #2 was a little all over the place. I think it was just trying to explain a lot of stuff in one comic, I feel like #3 will be focusing on whats going to happen now. I can't wait to see how this mini series ends. :) Could change MK. Probably for the better.

I have been very very very pleased with Shadowland Moon Knight, I have no qualms about it whatsoever. I loved the first issue (the flashbacks were great) and the second one was amazing! I loved the cliffhanger at the end too and I can't wait for #3 to come out!
