Moon Knight, Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley: four different aspects of the same man who was resurrected by Khonshu (the Egyptian Lunar-God of Vengeance and Justice) to serve as his "avatar." I haven't had much exposure to Moon Knight. Ignorant as I was, I of course immediately thought he was just a Batman knock-off when I was introduced to him a few years back. After doing research though, I realized that wasn't the case. Not only that, but I had a lot of fun playing him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I'm a huge fan of Declan Shalvey's art. And of course...it's Warren Ellis. I couldn't be more excited for this. I really hope it ends up taking off and becoming a hit in the same vein as Daredevil and Hawkeye. B-list (maybe B+ or A- lol) heroes with their own solo ongoing seem to be a recipe for success at Marvel these days.

The last series ended because the sales were terrible, not because Bendis moved on. The final issue only sold 21k, and Marvel's cancellation line is 20k anyway, so there's no coming back from that.
@jaken7: I actually got to know about MK fram MUA. I saw his name in the character roaster and got intrigued all of a sudden. I've got a whole bunch of fun comic-reading from that day.
@danial79: @jonny_anonymous: I never thought that Ellis was going to be on it for long but I do reckon that he'll get some ground rules set down for other writers. That'll make for good Moon Knight stories in future. i'm getting nothing but good vibes from all this. I think this series will change Moon Knight's status in the Marvel U from now on. It'll give him a definitive place and purpose. That'll secure him a role and an ongoing title or so I do hope.
@cyberwarrior: @danial79: I only read those Hulk issues very recently, myself and only because I heard Moon Knight was in them. Loeb's a real good sport with Moon Knight in those issues. Gives him pretty decent props. Moon Knight was pretty damn cool in them. Also, I've never played MUA either unfortunately. I Really want to though. its been on my to-do list for ages. I played it because I heard Moon Knight was in it, but unfortunately it was after I'd already played MUA2, and as you can imagine, it's hard to go backwards in a game series. For what it's worth, Moon Knight was pretty cool, though he wasn't much different to Gambit, using a bo as his primary weapon and swapping out playing cards for crescent darts.

I read that 2 years back. Wasn't much of a fan (as you can read here), though I probably would have liked it more at the time it came out. It just hasn't aged very well.
@hit_monkey: @danial79: I really hope MK will enstablish a place for himself in the MU as the series arive. Maybe he'l finally have his own animated series that were cancelled during the 2004 (or so). This is actually Marc's last chance to become popular in the nearest decade.
I never played MUA 2 just because I was too pissed off that MK wasn't in it. Maybe it isn't a bad game but I'm not givving a chance. Nope.

I liked the High Strangers mini-series too. Though I read it only about a year ago.
Found another scan that gives further confirmation that the 'Moon-Limo' doesn't have Frenchy, Ray or Buck behind the wheel. It's (as we thought from seeing Johnny's awesome scan ) self-driving. It does look like it's gonna give the Batmobile a run for its money tech-wise though. Looks far cooler as well. The Moon-Limo is badass! :D
Oh, and here's a really nifty piece of fan-art of Moon Knight in his new costume, That Shalvey himself gave his seal of approval. Just thought it would make a nice addition as it's the first piece of fan-art I've seen of MK in the three-piece.
@jonny_anonymous: Yeah, well he might crop up if Moon Knight still has his Moon-Copter? I hope at least some of the old gang turns up. Hey, Frenchie might be driving the car by remote control? As his disability kinda makes it difficult to actively take part of field missions? Would make sense???
@jonny_anonymous: I dunno? That's good theory. The tattery look would fit with Spector's 'Lockley' persona. Like the three-piece matches his 'Grant' one. The big beak does look a bit impractical for a costume though?
:D Can't wait for this 2 weeks of punisher in a row :O one week of break and then MK :O, plus snow is melting, Captain 2, GotG, X-Men DoFP, my god thay may as well green Light that deadpool movie tomorrow !
@deathstroke19: a user at CBR commented that this reads like a pilot for a TV show and I kinda agree so I wonder if this will fit in with the other "Marvel Knights" Netflix shows also the rumor that the Iron Fist: Living Weapon is the basis for the TV show kinda supports that as well.
