    Moon Knight

Character » Moon Knight appears in 1412 issues.

Moon Knight, Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley: four different aspects of the same man who was resurrected by Khonshu (the Egyptian Lunar-God of Vengeance and Justice) to serve as his "avatar." Those unjust mortals who prey upon the innocents traveling at night, with powers that come from the moon, beware the Vengeance of the Moon Knight!

    Bad thoughts...

I just noticed that most times when a popular writer does a character and boosts his popularity to a point, the company throws out a movie to them. I'm kinda worried now that in the near future there might be a film based off of the Bendis run, which would only be worse for MK because then everyone would try and base their takes on him off of that.

No, but I believe alot of the run's popularity drove towards the development

Well, we won't have to worry about a movie based on the Bendis Moon Knight since Marvel doesn't own Wolverine or Spider-Man. IMO Bendis probably thought to "try something new" with Moon Knight by focusing on his "insanity" which is what other writers have recently done. Giving him back his moon phase strength (which had a great dynamic with Mooney having to plan a situation based on the Moon cycle) or focusing on battling the occult would have been a great way to reboot Mooney. I was really hoping for a supernatural Moon Knight, heck make him battle other Egyptian Gods. Oh well, just ranting and complaining as Bendis changes my favorite character for the worst.

Something that confuses me is that, sure, he's trying something new with MK absolutely losing the plot, but why get rid of all his allies at the same time? And where did Khonshu suddenly disappear to?
