I would kill to see a Moon Knight movie. They need to make more movies like that. Or dare I say Legend of Zelda or a Super Mario remake. Anyone have anything better?

Flash would be good too. I thought Ryan Reynolds would've been a great Wally West, but I guess The Green Lantern and Deadpool will be good.

I'd say once the Avengers films are done, Marvel will start spreading its wings, and with Moon Knight's current boost in stature, there's every chance :)

He's a great character to put on the big screen with a really kick ass story.  I can't imagine who would play Marc Specter. Hey, that's a good question. Who would play Moon Knight?

Just looked him up. I could totally see it. Now we need to petition Marvel and get this movie on the big screen. I think it would be a game changer in comicbook movies.

The last I remember reading Disney had the franchise works for a Moon Knight television series out in the open alongside a Cloak And Dagger one.

Hey if they do it right it will work. only Problem I see is that they might try to make it r rated because of how violent MoonKnight can get.

how is that a problem? It had better be rated R or it's gonna suck. Just look at wolverine. you make it a pg-13 movie and you atrip away all the violence and bloodshed that built these characters.

Moon Knight would be awesome. Zelda would be awesome if they made it a modern reimagining. Mario would be wierd however you cut it. Also, prototype would make a cool film. as would Bioshock if any studio had the cajones to drop the money required to do it right. all in all, a lot of games can be made movies, but few movies can become games. i think they need a Hellboy game, and a good deadpool game.

@ReverseNegative: well, at least in Hulk they didn't need a lot of blood and violence to make it believable, because Hulk tries not to kill anyone. But wolverines entire life story is bathed in blood, and the film should have reflected that. The fact that we see wolverine stab people through the chest and never see a drop of blood is simply not acceptable. the only people to bleed in that entire movie were the old couple in the barn and kayla at the end. pathetic.

I was absolutely unimpressed with the Wolverine Origin. I understand that when making any comic book to film movie you can take some creative licensing , but for the love of all that's sacred and true they completely screwed the pooch on that one. Christ, where to begin. I think they need to stick closer to source material. And yes I know every character and team have multiple story lines but, they (for the most part) stick to a guide line. I hate Hollywood, bullshit, fluff!

I think it would be seen too much as a Batman 'copy' film to make it.

I can see the comparison between Marc Spector and Bruce Wayne. But Moon Knight and Batman, two different beings all together. Bats is a gadget guy and a detective. Moons power waxes and wanes with the moon. Plus Moon Knight gets his power from an Egyptian God. And Marc Spector is a little left of center in the sanity department. But Bruce isn't exactly Mr. Sanity. There are plenty of diffrences between them and I think Moon Knight is a mega franchise in the making.

The costume would be tough to adapt without looking to much like the Christopher Nolan Bat-Armour. Maybe if they made his costume leather like Daredevil, then it could work. Hell, that gives me an idea. I'm gonna try drawing a Moon Knight leather costume.

Moonknight would be awesome. To the mainstream it might seem to be too much of a copy of Batman though. I would like it though. He has so much good and different material to draw on. Would love to see him on the big screen, and see what his gear would look like...

I just realised, now that Bendis has changed MK, he'll never star in a film because Marvel own the rights to Captain America, Sony own Spider-Man, and Fox own Wolverine. He's now in film limbo.

That's if they follow the Bendis continuity, though.

An animated film of Moon Knight would be far better IMO. It seems to work for Batman.
