Tick Tock ..... im waiting for the plot to pick up.

    Review for Moon Knight #5.

The Story: Marc and Echo runaway from the cops and Tick-Tock gets interrogated by the police.

The Good: Some might be getting annoyed by the hallucinations but here is played up very well. Bendis has a good voice for each of them and how there experience's would try and influence Marc. Cap doesn't want him to hurt the cops since there just doing there jobs, Spidey wants him to run and get Echo and Wolvie wants him to cut loose on the cops in order to runaway. The conversations between Marc and Echo shows how smart Marc can be and their meeting ends in a pretty funny way. The conversation between the cop and Tick-Tock just shows how Marvel's recent overhaul of characters to L.A and how a cop from New York who had to deal with all the superhero BS feels about this situation.

The Bad: Same old song Bendis needs to learn to tighten up his stories and not have so many talking heads. Talking heads works fine with something like Powers since it's a procedural so you can have minimal action but this a superhero book and you need to know how to balance the two. Maleev's art is growing on me. Also im confused is the lawyer at the end supposed to be Marc or not.

The Verdict: We get some good conversations here but the plot is just going to damn slow. Buy this.

The way that Alex Maleev's Moon Knight pops against the backgrounds in this book is stunning. I could sit and stare at Alex Maleev's art for hours. Everything about Moon Knight is just so well done. The two-tone, inks and white page just work so brilliantly. Everything about Moon Knight pops in every panel he's in.It's brilliant because Marc is the only thing standing between L.A. (and the west coast) and crime. If that sentence terrifies you, then you've been reading the same book I have. Echo'...

We continue the story of  Marc Spector as he, with the help of Echo,  continues to search for the elusive kingpin of LA. The Night Shift are defeated by Marc and Echo but this is not the end of their troubles  as the LAPD has surrounded them.  The Good  I love the Dynamic Duo of Bendis and Maleev. They do a great job with the nitty- gritty street level heroes like Daredevil and Moon Knight. The Dirty artwork really adds to the city noire feeling that I think Bendis, in his story telling, i...
