    Crazy Moon Knight Action

Moon Knight is in Los Angeles fighting a new evil along side Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man...or is he?

    The Good

Have I mentioned I really really dig Moon Knight? I love Moon Knight having his own series and a high profile one at that since it's by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev. In a brilliant move, Moon Knight has decided to fight crime Los Angeles. We all know the Marvel Universe is more than just New York City. Being part of the Secret Avengers, Moon Knight has learned to be a team player once again. Seeing him work with Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man is great since anyone could learn so much from them. The problem is, if you read issue #1, you know that they are just figments in his crazy mind. This is a tiny bit concerning.

On the other hand, the idea of Moon Knight taking their advice and fighting similar to them opens the doors to new possibilities. Maleev's sequences fit perfectly for Moon Knight since it helps set the mood of his whacked out psyche.

Also if you want another startling surprise towards the end, there is one. It's not quite as crazy as last issue's but it was pretty cool.

    The Bad

As a big Moon Knight fan, I have to admit I am concerned. He's never been fully stable but this is the craziest I've seen him since...Ultimate Spider-Man. I loved the way he was fighting here but I'm not sure what this is going to mean for the future of the character. Maybe it was in part with the way he was fighting but I felt he should have been kicking more ass than he did. Just thinking back to his fight recently in Secret Avengers when he fought the Shadow Council, he really did a number on those guys.

    The Verdict

Moon Knight is becoming such a crazy guy. The move to LA is a great idea and Moon Knight is now developing a style of fighting due to his time with Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man. There's always been the question of how sane Moon Knight is but he appears to be going completely over the edge. I can only hope this will soon get fixed...at least a little bit. Bendis is putting the pieces out there, giving us a different Moon Knight series (compared to all the other ones that sadly got canceled). With Maleev on board, we are off to a great start in this volume. It's hard to say where this new direction will take Moon Knight and that is part of the fun. We are going into the unknown versus having the typical superhero fighting the bad guys that we've seen so many times. There is plenty of action, humor and twists that should bring a smile to your face.

      Review: Moon Knight #2 0

Brain Michael Bendis threw out a really good issue of Moon Knight last time, is this issue the same quality? What about Moon Knights multiple personalities?  THE GOOD: I have never read Moon Knight before and the first one did really good at making him known to me, this issue continues where the last one left off. They are looking for the person who is trying to become the King Pin of L.A. I love Moon Knight because he is a diffrent character. I love that he has multiple personalities. I think t...

There's Nothing to Worry About Until He Thinks He's Black Widow 0

Marc Specter's mental breakdown is on full display in this second issue of his series as he makes his first move to learn who the kingpin of Los Angeles is.   We learn that Moon Knight's mental state is a lot worse than him simply talking to people who aren't really there. In his delusional state, he sometimes actually thinks he is them. He acts as Spider-Man and Wolverine as if they are his allies helping him in this small Avengers team that exists only in his head. Perhaps the strangest thing ...
