    Creation

    Montgomery "Monty" Doolittle was created by David Elliott for Titan Comics' A1: The Weirding Willows. He is based on Dr. Doolittle from The Story of Doctor Dolittle by Hugh Lofting.

    About

    Montgomery Doolittle is the son of Doctor John Doolittle. Monty's ability to speak to animals is nowhere near his fathers. Raised in the shadow of his father, the brilliant do-gooder Dr. John Doolittle, Monty sort a different path that led him into the British Navy and then using his inherited abilities to forge a career as game hunter.

    "Monty" is a traveler and doesn't get home much. On one of his first trips around the world he met a girl in India. Being young and carefree he left her for more traveling not realizing she was carrying his son, Mowgli.

    Behind every bright twisted mad scientist is a surly and disgruntled assistant. Montgomery Doolittle is just such an assistant for Dr. Philippe Moreau.
