Monolith is a huge stone golem originally adopted by Tommy Czuchra after he died in an avalanche. Since then, a new host has taken over the rocky alter ego.
I think entries for Tommy Czuchra and Donald Ridgeway need to be separated. As it stands now, who appeared in which books can be very confusing. Tommy appeared well before Donald and certainly stopped going by the alias of Monolith.
