Basically like my idea of Atomic Skull, this is just me fiddling around with a thought I had regarding War World and it's inhabitants. Please read and comment.
First off the planet itself. War World is an artificial world. created by a long dead race called the Warzoons, a race that long ago desired to rule the entire universe. War World is an artificial planet, a dead world weaponized by the Warzoons to be an intergalactic engine of destruction. Armed to the core with nuclear-like inter-planetary missiles, vast prisons, energy cannons capable of destroying entire planets, and with it being able to travel between star systems in a few days, make War World a universal threat. However when the planet was complete, the Guardians of the Universe intervene and were able to stop the Warzoons from activating this planet size weapon of destruction. However instead of destroying it, the Guardians simply left the planet inactive, thinking no one would be able to come along and activate it. War World and all it's vast weapons can be controlled from a specialized throne room which the planet connects to the mind of the one sitting in the chair, and obeys their every whim.
The Emperor of War World; Mongul
Mongul was born on a war-like planet called Debstam IV, he was part of a race of savage but surprisingly intelligent race. Mongul's race followed only the strongest among them, and that was Mongul's older brother at the time. However the day Mongul was born, that's when things began to change. His strength was estimated at birth to be average, like most children on War World. His strength would determine his fate in society, but then as the young Mongul became a toddler, he overwhelmed his brother's elite guards, killing a few when they tried stopping him from slaying another child. That's when his brother found out, that at his young age, Mongul was as strong as any adult of his race, and the scientist there, told his brother, that his strength is only beginning to reveal itself and he may pass him up in power before he becomes a young adolescent. Deciding to take action before that happened, his brother attacked the young Mongul in his sleep at night, and after a brief scuffle, Mongul's chest was pierced by a specialized gladiator spear and was loaded onto a star craft. Traveling far into the cosmos, the ship landed on a dark world, and his brother dropped the young Mongul onto that world's surface and left him to die. If Mongul wouldn't die from his wounds, then surely the monsters on that world will finish the job. Almost a century later, as his brother continued to rule Debstam IV, a alien craft landed on that world.
The Debstam natives thinking it was a lost merchant vessel approached it in hopes of slaying the crew and taking their cargo. However a giant hand tore through the armor of the ship like it was tissue paper, and crushed the skull of the guard captain who investigated first. Mongul tore free from it and began his assault. His goal to slay his brother who left him for dead on a monstrous world. Slaying most of his brother's elite guard and soldiers, Mongul finally made his way to his brother's chambers, were instead of listening to his brother's pleas, Mongul immediately grabbed his brother's head and tore it off killing him instantly. He then mounted his head on a pike and carried it around the planet to show off his might and strength. Mongul was then declared emperor of Debstam IV. Things however got worse from there, while his brother was also a tyrant, Mongul was worst, given to what happened to him as a child, Mongul took his people's ideals to an extreme level, thinking only the strong should live and the weak die. He slaughtered countless men, women, & children of his race for being "weak". In a last ditch effort to free themselves of Mongul's rule, a team of scientist created a super virus in which they hope would kill Mongul which no one among their race could with their hands. However when they unleashed it, the virus didn't effect Mongul himself but rather began to kill off their entire race.
Mongul, angred at their betrayal charged into the scientists chambers and was going to force them to find a cure, instead he found all the scientist dead, all committed suicide but one. And when that man saw Mongul, he told his Emperor that it was better to die then live under his rule, and snapped their own neck then and there, eliminating any hope for a cure. Within days, Debstam IV grew silent as all of Mongul's people died from the super virus. Deciding to leave the dead world behind me, Mongul was loading a Cargo ship with supplies and weapon for him departure when he heard cries of children coming from medical building in the capital city of his world. He stepped inside and found two children, twins, and not any children, his own children given birth by the woman he took from his brother when he became ruler. Perhaps it was a miracle they survived, perhaps it was cause of their father's genes. Whatever the case, the two children survived while the rest of his race did not. To Mongul it only meant he and his children were worthy to live and the weaklings got the death they deserved. Taking his children from that building, he boarded onto his cargo ship and left Debstam IV behind. Soon afterwards, Mongul came across the ghost world of War World, and he found a way to activate and power up War World. Making himself emperor of this engine of destruction. He began to travel the cosmos, ready to create an empire of galactic size.
The Prince & Princess of War World
Mongul's twin children. They both share equal power on War World, but not on their father's level. Both of them enforce his rule over the planet's he's conquered, and on War World among his slaves he's acquired over the years. His daughter and oldest child by a few minutes is Mongal, her younger brother is named Mongrol. While both children are cruel in their own right, Mongal is abit colder than her brother, due to her father placing males being stronger than females, and Mongal was often tested more by her father than her brother to prove her worth to him. This has left Mongal abit more ruthless than her brother. While in comparison, her brother is more keen on manipulation and deceit despite his near equal strength with her, and often finds enjoyment with torturing his victims rather than outright killing them first. Both hold a position higher than any of the Gladiators or slaves Mongul has on his planet. However both still follow the orders given by Mongul no questions asked.
Champion of War World
Draaga is the champion of War World's Gladiatorial games, which are held by Mongul for his own amusement. Draaga has survived countless battles against strong opponents across the universe. While he originally became a Gladiator to keep his home world from getting destroyed by Mongul, he has gotten used to the way war World operates and see himself as War World's champion first rather than defending his home world's safety at times. raaga was selected to be Champion by Mongul's own hand and he fights to maintain not only his honor but his master's as well. memories of his home world are slowly fading due to his prolong exposure to the blood and violence of these gladiator games.
Mongrol's Gladiators
A group of 6 powerful alien warriors entrusted to Mongrol by his father, Mongul. They not only serve as his foot soldiers but gladiators in the War World games. Each one is a powerful threat in their own right, and won't hesitate to slay any being if commanded by either Mongrol or his father Mongul. Each of these warriors come from a different race of cultures across the cosmos. Their names are Clawster, Equus, jugular, Massacre, Replikon, & Tyrell.
Mongal's Gladiators
A Group of 6 powerful alien warriors entrusted to Mongal by her father Mongul. They not only serves as her foot soldiers but gladiators in the War World games. Each one is a powerful threat in their own right and won't hesitate to slay any being if commanded by either Mongal or her father Mongul. While her brother has collected fighters from across various planets, Mongal has focused on breeding a select few for being a warrior, and unlike her brother, has a number of female fighters in her ranks. they are Knockout, Overkhast, Lady Lunar, Crescent Moon, Harvest Moon, & New Moon.
Foot Soldiers
Phaltune soldiers, were the robotic soldiers that were left unactivated at War World when it was complete. When Mongul Brought the planet by to life, the robots activated along with it. They come in 3 classes Phaltune Guards, Phaltune Stealth, & Phaltune Elite. Each one offers different capabilities and weapons, however they serve all but one purposes. To carry out the ruler of War World's wishes and desires.
Monsters of War World
Aside from his Children, Gladiators, slaves, and robot foot soldiers. Mongul also commands various monsters he's captured over the years in his galactic conquest. He very rarely employs the use of these creatures, but once he does, doom is almost certain for those who stand in his way and oppose him.
The Galactic Golem, a colossal giant made from galactic matter when the universe was born. it is unknown who created the Golem but one thing is certain it's a very powerful being capable of destroying planets on it's own. Mongul found the creature's unconscious body adrift in space, and used War World's vast and advanced technology to revive and bring the creature under his control.
A Sun-Eater, a creature capable of devouring a Star. Mongul during his early days of ruling War World came across the Sun-Eater's handler and deciding he wanted the creature for himself, killed the handler and took control over the creature. He often uses this creature to punish those worlds he deemed unworthy of his time and patience to deal with. Sentencing them to death by having the Sun-Eater devour their star that provided their world with life and heat.
A Black mercy, a parasitic and psychic plant that feed on the life force of whomever get one planted on their bodies. The plant can keep them under it's control by showing them their greatest desires in their mind as it feeds away at it's victim's lifeforce. But there is also another side of this coin. Mongul can also will the creature to show the victim's greatest and darkest fears, sending them into s screaming horror as the plant is devouring them to Mongul's own amusement. Deep inside War World there is a garden of these plants, and along with them a graveyard of bones of victim sent to feed Mongul's "babies".
And that's my basic idea of a rebooted War World. I could write more but atm I'm feeling lazy so expect an update to this blog soon.
