Dead Will Not Rise (hopefully into another volume)

    Synopsis

Many flashbacks into Ghost's past. He is methodically locating and executing or torturing people who have wronged him. He still remains bound and held hostage inside of an elementary school room.

    The Good

The good part about this series is that this is the  penultimate issue of the volume. Only one more to suffer through...phew!

    The Bad

I have a hard time with this artwork. It's not horrible but I can say that I don't like it's style. I also don't get the plot very much and have no connection to the characters. I'm just looking forward to only having to read one more issue then this is finished. I have been buying this series purely out of the collector mentality of myself. I don't want to have any holes in my collection. I have been picking this series up from the beginning and wish I hadn't.

    Verdict (1/5)

This book was just as the rest of the series--poor to horrible. I don't understand the plot very much and don't know who the characters are. I don't play the video game and therefore don't really know how significant Ghost really is. Sad thing is that they don't really stress this in the book itself either. With all of this being said and because I pretty much had to choke down the issue I'm going to give this a 1/5 (I like the thicker paper on their covers).
