Janos Prohaska became a world renowned pilot during the Spanish Civil War. After the Nazis invaded his home country he named himself Blackhawk and joined with several of his friends to combat them as the Blackhawk Squadron.

Weng Chan was a member of the Blackhawks second incarnation by Howard Chaykin. He was a pilot for the 'Hawks, as well as a mechanic and cook. He was chair of the company for some time.
Andre Blanc-Dumont is the French member of the Blackhawks.
Scandinavian member of the Blackhawks in World War II. Originally named Olaf Bjornson and was of Swedish (sometimes Norwegian) nationality. Was later changed to Olaf Friedriksen of Danish nationality in Howard Chaykin's 80's reboot.
Hans Hendricksen was the Dutch (sometimes German) member of the WWII Blackhawks. In the Howard Chaykin 80's reboot, he was named Ritter Hendricksen.
Chuck Wilson is a Texan and and one of the American members of the Blackhawks. In the 1980's his character was drastically changed the Carlos "Chuck" Sirianni and Italian who was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey.
