Miss Sinister
Character » Miss Sinister appears in 144 issues.
Claudine was created by the geneticist Mister Sinister to act as a fail-safe in the event of his death. When that ultimately occurred, Claudine was activated. Becoming Miss Sinister, she joined the Hellfire Club and briefly romanced Daken. Last seen unconscious in the presence of Mr. Sinister himself.
Who wants more?
I DO! I DO!
This seemed out of left field when it first happened, but this concept and character is sheer brilliance. I want to see a lot more of Miss Sinister not stopping short
of a mini. Anyone else on my team here? ^_^
not sure, but I'm behind like two months yet. but like i said it seems like their timid in using Sinister since changing his gender.
i dont think its a sexist thing or something mind you, it seems more writers might be unsure how to approach the character yet,
but i would like a huge story involving her. i think it's one of the freshest ideas sitting under the X belt in awhile. i would love for
them to get risky and delve into Sinister's thoughts and mentality, emotional state ect since now experiancing womanhood as
well. Sinister as a male had a rich detailed history, they have a lot they need to highlight with this as far as im concerned.
the artistic aesthetic would look great with that. especially with a very creative free artist on board, someone elegant.
good, i want the press. more hits on Google the better the chance of getting a writers attention on this.
@Edamame:
i just like the whole Emma vs Miss Sinister idea because its Yin and Yang. Once you brought it up i had endless visual ideas
for that. That would just be sexy on paper! ^O^
Personally, I prefer Mister Sinister, but I can see why so many guys like Miss... She's like the ilegitimate child of Mr Sinister & Selene ;)
i think he slipped on the label, but a metro sexual is a straight man who adopts the habits particularly grooming of
women in order to attract female partners. Miss Sinister is actually a 100% perfect transvestite operation, and i believe
if memory serves me right Essex is a bisexual by nature.
i wouldnt prefer to have Selene there because it would detract from much need time delving into Sinister, like i said
foremost what his trans experience is like. i can't say i can recall seeing much of that ever highlighted in American comic
form, and its a long overdue subject to touch on and the reason i'm personally so a gust by the character. to put it bluntly,
here we have one of the major longtime mainstream characters in a massive franchise, and he has just had a sex change.
i'm pretty sure that is reason alone Miss Sinister needs a deeper analysis on page, and if done with the right detail could
make for a groundbreaking book. Selene also would detract from the Ying-Yang visual as well. Why Emma works so well
is because she's another character long overdue and her elite fan base as well for her to get some story time in a solo
adventure without the X-men or Cyclops. (seriously the Emma fan base is dedicated and deserves the praise handed
back). She and Sinister act as antigens to each other here, therefore opening the doors to provide subtle narration
and each other via the others opposing traits. whereas Emma and Selene where alike in many ways but opposition,
Emma and Sinister are however complete and infernal opposites by design, and would compliment each other well,
as well make for better arch-enemies, as Selene has tended to show more in the way of competition and less in the
way of a direct threat and opponent as Sinister is fit for, as well to widen the gyre in the X-Universe and evolve it rather
than the usual and predictable repetition, in my humble opinion of course (:
@Emperor Gonzo Noir:
thats because you rock steady! you also love Dead Girl! ^O^

i believe ive heard that its actually noted somewhere, was hoping for confirmation.
i dont know where his wife rates, as she was also prior to a being change for him, when
he was still reasonable a humanoid, you know?
not sure with the first three, ive been in debates over the second (i think it has multiple applications maybe?)
but the 4th im pretty familiar with, pansexual is someone who is and swings every way, basically.
I think Mister Sinister doesn't really have a sexual preference.....he kinda gets off on science :P
This female clone is more sexually charged than he ever was though.
has she been seen since the arc with Logan, Daken, Shaw & Xavier?

She's not in Daken issue #1. There's a big summary of Daken's history as an extra in the back of the comic and she's shown from the Sins Of The Father arc. She's not involved in the actual issue and I think it's misleading when characters are credited as being in issues in such fashion.

*shrugs* I don't like Daken so I didn't get that issue... So it seems that she's only appeared in the Sins of the Father story & this new X-23 story...
now i want a head gemstone again, lol. i researched how to do it while working in the craft, and all it would take is to mount a gem
on a small flat metal bar, conform that piece to the forehead, slice open the forehead and work the flatpiece in, and voila!
healed to perfection.
@Edamame:
thats an interesting theory...i think they actually literally dropped it at some point in an alliteration he made on an issue in quote,
i just can't remember for the life of me where as it was one of those things that only got chatted about briefly before the next
comic scandal blew in front of it. i'll keep digging though
Hell yeah! She's cool.
I know that she was stabbed by x-23 in X-23 #6, but I don't think that she died.
But I wonder when we'll see her again.
