    Why does that picture say her real name Irma? Is it some joke I just don't get?

    It was a part of the little joke Grant Morrison created during his New X-men run. The cuckoo's names were supposed to spell out SPICE when each of the first letters from their names were put together but he was unable to name Mindee before his run ended so it's just a correction on the in joke.

    They called her Irma in Nation X #4.....grrrr. The writers just have to accept that their names spells SPMCE.
