    There was a time in this series that I bemoaned the change in theme from a scientific approach to the brain to one more supernatural.  Now though this series has taken off in a direction which was completely unexpected and thus far it is working really well.  It is not even easy to put this into a category of what is happening yet as it seems like no one really knows.  I won't reveal the developments here, they more or less have to be read in their sequence to have the proper weight.  This is us...
