    Mimic is a super-human with the ability to copy the powers and abilities of others. He was the first new recruit to the original X-Men team and later a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Excalibur and Norman Osborn's X-Men team before rejoining the X-Men at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.

    Has he permanently copied the powers of Beast, Angel, Cyclops, etc.? Cuz he always has wings and stuff but i dont know if its permanent

    Yup and any other mutant that he's in close proximity with... but those abilities tend to fade

    Mimic can copy the powers and abilities of others (mutants or not) while in their proximity.  However, if near a certain individual for a short period of time (i'm guessing a few hours), he is able to permanently maintain those abilities.  When  Mimic's powers were relatively still new, he spent much of his time around the five original X-men, enough to permanently maintain their powers.  When he encounters new mutants, he can still copy their powers, but temporarily.

    @Husk45: well mimic from 616 is one of those guys that just joins in whatever going to give him the best, mostly his confuse mental and morality wise too but he was once a good guy just over time the lines fade

    i dont get why mimic isnt more powerful then he is played out to be.... i've read Utopia and he seemed so goofy

    no and i wasnt serious, becus bruiser said that he can absorb others powers not just mutant in this quote above yours

     Try reading the first series of Exiles.  
    Earth-12 Mimic represents what 616-Mimic could and should be like.

    Right now 616 Mimic is a bad guy. Earth 12 Mimic was is good guy. You know Marvel killed the wrong one. LOL.
