The More I Read, The More I Like It!!

The pieces of the puzzle are slowly coming together, and boy is it entertaining.

I enjoy this series, not sure if I like it more than Kick-Ass but it's pretty close to topping it. The entertaining thing about this, is that the whole series has been a battle of wits between these two characters. Each character gets a chance to outsmart the other and now the playing field is pretty even meaning that the winner of the battle in the next issue wins it all.

I like seeing this evil version of Batman tear through the streets and unleash all hell. You get the feeling that this is the guy you don't want to mess with because he won't just beat the crap out of you, he'll ruin your entire life before he does it just she can watch you die while also suffering.

We also get some character development from Blake Marrow finally, we watch as Nemesis takes down his entire family life which was actually really sad. It was a great scene and I'm glad that now that we now care for both characters, it'll make the final battle all the more interesting.

The artwork is amazing, Steve McNiven is one of the best and this issue shows it really well. I originally thought the paneling was kind of lacking but the more I look at it the more I like it. The paneling is usually just thick or thin rectangles, with squares rarely ever used. This gives a cinematic wide screen look to the artwork which I kind of dig.

I liked this issue, it was actually pretty dang good and the more I read of this series the more excited I get for the supposed movie that is going to be based on this. Can you imagine Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise as Nemesis? That would be awesome. Plus Tony Scott (Who directed one of my favorite movies of all time) is going to direct. If the final issue was as good as this (Or better) than I'll definitely be purchasing a ticket to the movie this is based off of.

    4.5 out of 5.

      Review: Nemesis #3 0

If Chief Morrow thinks he's got Nemesis right where he wants him, he's in for a hell of rude awakening as the super villain proves that no prison can bind him and no enemy's vulnerabilities are beyond his grasp. The Good I give Millar a lot of credit for not pulling a single punch to make this an unrestricted, uninhibited, totally balls-out outrageous experience. Nemesis' break-out and subsequent blackmail scheme against Morrow is so over-the-top, the roof (as it were) is completely out of sigh...

That moment where you realize the prisoner WANTS to be in prison. #beafraidnow NEMESIS 3 0

Nemesis is captured and heading to prison to spend the rest of his short life wondering what he did wrong. *Sigh*, sounds like a horrible end am I right? Well, what I just said is not going to happen -- ever! Nemesis might be going to prison, but that does not mean he didn't plan for all this to happen. He's Nemesis after all! The GoodNemesis is here to bring the pain! (a lot of it)What a issue?! Millar did everything right in this issue. Action, the story moved forward ten places in a good di...
