    Review: Nemesis #3 1

If Chief Morrow thinks he's got Nemesis right where he wants him, he's in for a hell of rude awakening as the super villain proves that no prison can bind him and no enemy's vulnerabilities are beyond his grasp. The Good I give Millar a lot of credit for not pulling a single punch to make this an unrestricted, uninhibited, totally balls-out outrageous experience. Nemesis' break-out and subsequent blackmail scheme against Morrow is so over-the-top, the roof (as it were) is completely out of sigh...

The More I Read, The More I Like It!! 0

The pieces of the puzzle are slowly coming together, and boy is it entertaining.   I enjoy this series, not sure if I like it more than Kick-Ass but it's pretty close to topping it. The entertaining thing about this, is that the whole series has been a battle of wits between these two characters. Each character gets a chance to outsmart the other and now the playing field is pretty even meaning that the winner of the battle in the next issue wins it all.   I like seeing this evil version of Batm...

    Another Grand Slam 0

As a jaded old comic fan with two kids in diapers, my money rarely goes to new comics these days.  With price increases, over-production, and less money in my pocket than ever, it's truly rare that a new comic comes along with enough awesome sauce to cause me to pull the change out of the couch cushions.  This is one of those books.    I actually read a friend's copy of this book and liked it so much that I went to the store and bought it.  I felt the book was so well done, it deserved to be pai...

Issue 3: Predictable with a weird twist 0

Just read Issue 3 and art was pretty good but we all knew that Nemesis would not be contained. There is a weird part where the chief has to confront his family secrets and Nemesis makes him pay for it. While trying to be more in the real world and what they would do to one another; In reality someone would have just killed this guy. He does something that is very twisted and makes you just not enjoy the character at all unless you are f'd up... I am but still, it is pretty bad and shocking. The ...

Possibly the Most Horrible Comic I've Ever Read. In a Good Way. 0

The Good: Well. It's awesome. I'll give it that. All the action in this comic is a beautiful love letter to violence, as the handy little peek at the script mentioned. Nemesis is a complete badass to the tenth power. Never have I ever felt more wrong for liking something so much. I'm amazed that I still want to see a lot more of Nemesis. He is the epitome of a terrible person. He is a complete monster of a human being. Why the fuck is he so damn charismatic to the audience? I dunno, but I love i...

And This Is Going to be a Film...? 0

By far, this is my favorite issue so far and it only makes me think the final issue is going to be even more bad ass. This issue is also the darkest so far.  Even though I give this five stars, I will admit that the story is predictable, but I don't think it detracts from the comic at all. It's still enjoyable to read and watch the events unfold. I only point it out because Millar and Co. seem to think they're throwing twists and turns like crazy. ...

That moment where you realize the prisoner WANTS to be in prison. #beafraidnow NEMESIS 3 0

Nemesis is captured and heading to prison to spend the rest of his short life wondering what he did wrong. *Sigh*, sounds like a horrible end am I right? Well, what I just said is not going to happen -- ever! Nemesis might be going to prison, but that does not mean he didn't plan for all this to happen. He's Nemesis after all! The GoodNemesis is here to bring the pain! (a lot of it)What a issue?! Millar did everything right in this issue. Action, the story moved forward ten places in a good di...
