Nemesis is BORN! Time for a real show.

Nemesis is bent on making Chief Blake Morrow pay, and when Nemesis is bent on achieving something -- know that he will do whatever it takes!

    The Good

Don't think for a second that Nemesis is down for the count.

This series keeps getting better! Millar really set the stage last issue at introducing us a super criminal. Giving us a brief glimpse at what Nemesis is capable of. Now with the introduction of the character and also the tone of the comic, Millar and McNivens are now going to delve into what makes Nemesis tick.

Millar delves a little into what made Nemesis, Nemesis. We learn that it was a tragic story in Nemesis' early childhood that made him into a violent psychopath bent on taking out government officials. And also how he's connected to Chief Blake Morrow! It gives us readers some grounds on why Nemesis is doing what he's doing. Sure he greatly enjoys what he does; exposing officials that were so called "good", murdering them publicly, then moving on to the next target (things that have been done with a majority of villains) -- however it goes a lot deeper than Nemesis' enjoyment. It starts with him really hating anyone that is in law enforcement and for exposing his family. And that shows a great deal of character and how Millar introduced us to Nemesis' psyche. It was just amazing!

He wouldn't have accomplished it without the help of McNivens' artwork. As McNivens really knows how to capture everything so perfectly in this title. From the colors, design, and to making Nemesis look so sinister.

    The Bad

    No complaints.

    The Verdict

CHECK OUT THIS SERIES! OVERALL 5 OUT OF 5!!!!!!

Told you it'd get better 0

I recall that in my review of Nemesis #1, I said that the first issue was setting things up and that we'd get the real deal by the second issue.....I was right.   The first issue was a 4 out of 5, and with issue #2 it's still a 4 out of 5 but now we have some character development, now we learn more about Nemesis and his motives and I got to admit his origin story is quite clever. It's a interesting origin to an interesting character in an interesting story... but I just wish I could say the sam...

      Review: Nemesis #2 0

The team that brought you Marvel's Civil War brings you Nemesis, an ultra-violent comic for adults by two of the industries best creators around.   The Good Batman on coke, in white. That's the best way I could describe this book. This is one of those books were Millar can essentially do whatever he wants, like Kick-Ass. But unlike Kick-Ass, I actually enjoy this book, to a degree. The thing that bugged me about Kick-Ass was the cursing. There's a bit of cursing in this book, but it fits. I...
