    Nemesis pwns Kick-Ass

    Review:

All I can say to express my feelings for this comic is...F**King AMAZING!!! Millar and McNiven really out done themselves this time. I can say why Millar wanted to make a charcter that would be like Batman but taking The Joker route. You could say Nemesis is the Anti-Batman but more crazier and has no consideration for others. That being said, I'm glad this is a completely different character. Nemesis is an intelligent super criminal who goes after inspector's/ the bestest cops in the world and make their lives a living hell. He does such a great job at it, as well as insulting them, it's as though he's looking down on them.

The writing was excellent, Millar did well capturing some hilarious moments. The art was ok for me, especialy at the plain crash scene, but there were scenes that were VERY GRAPHIC. The only thing that was a problem was that I didn't get enough of Nemesis. We don't know his actually agenda, his backstory or his other abilities, but that'll happen as things progress. I do recommend this if your into Kick-Ass, Millar's work, or seeing a crazed villian having all the spot-light. A great start no less.

First off let me say, when it comes to Mark Millar you either like his stuff or hate it. Well Nemesis isn't any different, you either like it or hate it and I got to say despite all it's flaws I liked it.   Lets start with all the good stuff.... Well the art is amazing, I didn't expect any less from someone as great as McNiven. It seems like Mark Millar has a nack for hiring the best of the best when it comes to artist. Steve McNiven's artwork is great as always and every panel is amazing to loo...

Riding high on his success from Kick-Ass Mark Millar tells to tell the story of the baddest of the bad. Nemesis is an original character that some, even Millar himself, have called a combination of Batman and the Joker. This issue doesn't really spill the beans on what Nemesis actually is but we get to see him do this thing and it's done well in the over the top Millar style. What I liked about Kick-Ass is that, like the Watchman, it was about comic books. Dave was guy who loved comics and wante...
