I have been waiting for a new Ultimate FF series for several years. I hope I will be a happy camper with the results.

I respect your point of view but I don't see it that same way.

I. How many times did we see Parker start as a rookie and become a pro? I feel like Parker's story has been told a million times.

II. Miles Morales and Jimmy Hudson are not lame in my opinion. I actually prefer Hudson over Logan.

III. I honestly don't see it as a big issue that characters drowned off panel, it was to emphasize the evil act that Magneto committed. Plus, most of them exist in the 616 Universe so it wasn't like a "official" fair well for them.

IV. I personally don't understand with the issue of renumbering issues. If Scarlet Spider didn't end and instead just got renumbered I wouldn't care.

V. Saying "I'll read Luthor Strode instead," is exactly what I am talking about of finding a new favorite. It is easy solution if I do not like the product then I find another one. If they are making a bad decision then so what? It isn't my problem. I can always find a new medium.

VI. Honestly, I think in all mediums it is the average supporter or the casual supporter that carries a medium. However, I do think the hardcore fans are important and carry the medium when things go bad. At the same time, when times get hard for the medium, the hardcore fans have the power to destroy that medium.

Painful to watch this. Might as well call it Ultimatum: Part Deus.

However, there have been good stories since Ultimatum. Fialkov in particular has given us some great material. I've been on this "ultimate" ride since Bendis and Bagely debuted Ultimate Spiderman and I'm not about to quit now. Here's to hoping this ends up being another Ultimate Enemy as opposed to a Ultimates 3.

I don't know why you're saying that it's painful to watch....Cataclysm has been a great read so far...it's been nothing like Ultimatum

Honestly, I sincerely hope its not Norman...His final battle with Peter was the moment where Pete was totally victorious against that scum-bag. Bringing him back would cheapen Petes last moment of badassness...crushing him with a truck. I'm hoping more along the lines of the kingpin with the enforcers, etc..

Well, they keep trying this. Not that it's a bad thing, but this "try anything" sometimes feels like "try everything" because nothing lasts. The ultimate universe mutants especially seem to get the short end of things.

I dig Fiffe's style and I really like Miles, so I'll give All-New Ultimates a shot.

I wonder why adding kitty pride, i really like "spidey & his ultimate friends " better as they are.

They're probably going to drastically screw over the remaining X-Men or Kitty being on the Ultimates will be some sort of a PR thing "Not all Mutants are bad."

Indeed we see Spider-man's origin often enough with Batman and Superman. It's the price we pay with having such popular heroes. Killing Pete to rehash another origin doesn't make your point, it helps mine.

2. You prefer Hudson and Morales? Oi. Well that explains most of our disagreement. You got something you like. I had something of mine taken away.

3. Treating a character bad is treating a character bad. And the character from the Ultimate U is not the same one in the 616. 616 Hulk doesn't eat people. They may both be big muscle guys who punch stuff but comparing Ult Hulk to 616 Hulk is like comparing Human Torch to Night Thrasher. Comparing Ult Spider-man to the 616 is like comparing him to Moon Knight. The Ultimate U. had different scenarios, different motivations and what not. They are not carbon copies for anybody willing to look closely.

4 I read in trade. Renumbering is more an issue when it gets done all the time and I need to recall what volume goes first. It's a nuisance more then a problem.

5. Sure I'll try to move on. But I may get alienated to the point where I leave comics again. Did it as a teen when Wolverine lost his Adamantium, the Hulk turned to Banner with savage mind when angry Spider-Clone Saga etc. I'll try to fill in the gaps when I quit paying for a bad product, but the truth is guys like Cap, Wolverine, Spidey, Superman and the rest are my first loves. I don't want to have to replace them. I can move on, I don't want to. I certainly won't reward Marvel for their lack of loyalty to me as a consumer so I won't replace my fallen heroes with new Marvel heroes. I'll move to publishers who don't have their heads firmly stuck up their backsides. Sadly, Marvel hasn't learned much since it's 90's bankruptcy that "events" and speculators are bad for the market.

6. Comics are not carried by the average supporter. Movie and games and such peripheral properties and such, but comics themselves, no. Comics are picked up by a casual supporter who becomes a fan or dropped. Why do you think Marvel keeps dinking up the status quo to make it so it matches the movies? They want the casual fans to pick up a book based on that movie they liked, enjoy the book and start shelling out money regularly for that book.

As it stands, from what it seems, Ultimate Marvel is something that I'll likely put down. Maybe the new guys will stand by it as long as I have, maybe not. All I know is that Marvel is walking a tightrope with me and it looks like they lost it. Third strike and I am out.

I knew the ultimate universe would not be destroyed, although a reboot would be nice just to erase ultimatum, (which was the worst story ever!!!) bring back the characters, but let the dead means dead rule apply and make their deaths meaningful and right.

In my opinion, Jessica Drew should be named Scarlet Spider rather than Black widow.

I really miss Miles and Jessica! :( Can't wait for April.

The ultimate universe has not been the same due to Jeph Leob's machinations via ultimatum, which left it confusing I hope the ultimate universe will be easier to understand and enjoyable as i still see potential.
