Character » Miles Morales appears in 1193 issues.
Doesn't anyone remember Spider-Man chick and Spider-Scorpion. The two clones still alive in the Ultimate universe...
That is funny but he deserves some props so I hope he dies with a big bang, both gory and dramatic but with a lot of fight (none of that moral message with hidden meaning crap)
Miles has having the top selling (out 3 total) book from Ultimate line going for him. That is about it. People keep throwing around words like "cash cow" but his book has never even broken the top 25 with the exception of issue #1. He's not selling poorly but he's not bringing in "tons of money" either. He's not selling tv or movies and he's not the one in the toy isles at Walmart.
If Miles was doing so greatly they wouldn't be pulling this crossover event in the first place. Remember when Quesada said there wouldn't be a 616/1610 crossover because that would mean Marvel was officially out of ideas? Well this is it. Spider-Men is a ditch effort to push Miles Morales and try to boost his popularity.
I like Ultimate Pete as much as anyone. His initial series was great before the first Ultimate rebranding. They killed him though and so far they've done a good job at keeping Ultimate deaths permanent. If they bring Pete back then it's open game for everyone and we just get another 616. However, people seem to think Miles is safe for some reason. The character is neither overwhelmingly popular or marketable. I can see him very well disappearing or being pushed aside in the coming years.
But it won't happen in Spider-Men : P
Marvel has already stated that they will not be bringing Ultimate Peter Parker Back and that they will not be cloning him.Miles has having the top selling (out 3 total) book from Ultimate line going for him. True.Quesada said it when the Ultimate line debuted.
Kill him off, then what was the point of even creating him in the first place. This is going to be more stupid and pointless than the death of Peter parker
We have one black spiderman that I love. There are other titles with peter still in them and everyone knows that peter is going to come back in superior spider-man. If Marvel we're to kill of Miles it would be a huge disservice to many of their fans and I can promise that I would never pick up another Marvel book again.
I hope he doesn't die since they're already bringing Peter Parker back in the normal universe so what's the point in bringing him back in the ultimate universe too?
I wish they would #KillMilesMorales he's a sad second rate rip off of Peter who was created to be the token black and to cry about being black. If they did a good story that killed him off it would be great
