    Mighty Avengers improves on debut...

After the events of Might Avengers 1 sees a rag tag group calling themselves Avengers defend NYC against the forces of Thanos the situation gets worse. The Ebony Maw sets his sites on manipulating Dr. Strange and unleashing hell on earth. Blue Marvel is introduced and gets involved as only a super powered being can and hopefully we will see plenty more of him in the issue to come. There is also a great historical reference which blew me away when I read it.

The writing in issue 2 is as great as it was in the debut and the artwork continues to grow on me. This has the basis for a great series with lots of lesser known characters coming into the fray. I cannot wait to see Infinity continue in these pages and hopefully some more greatness after this event passes.

This issue has its moments, but kind of backs off at the end with a little bit of a double cop-out, in my opinion.Beyond introducing us to a new character early on in this issue, there is very little character development to be seen here. Instead, this ...
