I think the New 52 wiped out everyone's marriages -- Lois & Clark, Barry & Iris, Arthur & Mera, Ollie & Dinah, Apollo & Midnighter...I could be wrong though, but I seem to recall Dan DiDio saying before that no one is married in the New 52. Well, not on Earth-0 anyway.

Midnighter is the reason I started reading Grayson. His solo title is the one I'm most looking forward to in June. Hope it'll be a great ongoing series that lasts long.

So excited for this. Midnighter is my all time favourite fictional character of all time and I hope to get some of the good old magic back from the past solo series and The Authority.

The thing I have the most difficult to adjust to is the fact that he isn't with Apollo and that Steve implies that it is just a crush and eventually they'll part ways. I can't imagine a Midnighter without an Apollo somewhere for him. It is really depressing in that sense.

@drawzer: Hmm, a crush? I got the impression that Midnighter is still in love with Apollo.

It's almost as if Midnighter sees Apollo as a paragon of good, and he left him because he's not worthy of that(black hole). It's good that Midnighter is getting another chance to shine on his own, but yes, I would like to see them back together at some point(like next issue, please).

I just finished the book, the writing was excellent and the art was fantastic.

@sprior93. : I was simply referring to what the writer said which sparks a little bit of fear in me. But you are absolutely correct in that it seems to be that he is in love with Apollo. Your argument and explanation of Midnighter not feeling worthy of him was spot on.

As soon as possible would be my wish.
