He may be a bad a$$, but he is also a father, husband, killer, nice guy, superhero etc
usually when a character comes out of the closet writers try too hard to make him gay, and usually when characters are dark they are just annoying and mopey, but Mark Miller and Warren Ellis treated the character well, and it seems Paul Cornell will as well
I never read the character until Stormwatch launched with the rest of the DCnU, but he is great. I hope that the writer that takes over for Cornell on Stormwatch handles the character well.
