Michael Ryan is a comic book artist who has worked for mostly Marvel comics and Wildstorm.
A failry necomer in the world of comics, Michael Ryan is best known for his long stints on the Cable and New X-men: Academy X comic series. He more recently became the artist of the second volume of the Runaways until the series was relaunched again. Marvel Comics signed a 3-year contract with an eager Ryan, who (wanted to) work mostly for Marvel Comics.Then time editer in Chief Joe Quasada said about Ryan; "Michael shouldn't be so humble about his art. Marvel recognized his talent, as have the fans, and it rocks. We don't want him anywhere else but here!"
