Lucifer is a series published by Vertigo that tells the tale of Lucifer Morningstar after the events that began in The Sandman and though it is entitled Lucifer, it would be advised not to think of this series as a timeline of Lucifer's life, rather it should be seen as a story about the lives of many individuals in the universe, and how Lucifer has affected them. Lucifer does not even appear in eleven issues of the series and in many that he does appear he makes simple cameos, for this is not his story, it is all of creation's.
