Since discovering the DC universe, Metamorpho has always struck me as one of the more powerful but less widely used characters. I'm trying to get an idea of where other people think Metamorpho falls in terms of abilities and power within the DC universe. So, If the entire DC universe was ranked by power and abilities what characters would come just before Metamorpho and what ones would fall right behind him? Or, who (within the DC universe preferably) is the most powerful character you think Metamorpho would beat in a fight? Also, who is the least powerful character that you think would beat Metamorpho in a fight?

This is not a battle thread but for the sake of the last two questions these would be fair fights, in character, no prep, in a featureless surrounding.

that's something i thought about a lot as well. I mean, the guy can turn into and combine every element on the periodic table. I say he would beat every character whose powers are of a "physical" nature (superman, captain atom, doomsday and so on). He might lose to magic users/mind controllers like Dr. Fate or Raven.

I can't picture a scenario where he couldn't just turn himself into an undetectable gas or liquid and flee a situation if he has to.
