20Sometimes even the best intel isn't good enough. The Good: Have I gushed over these covers enough yet? NOPE! Easily some of best covers of the New 52 go to Men of War. The cold white sets an odd tone I can't quite put my finger on, but I love the logo at the bottom. I'm not military savvy enough to know what it means, but I know it's SOME kind of military symbol, and that's good enough. But the finishing touch is the empty bullet casings falling through the gaps. THAT is what really MAKES this cover. As I've come to expect, we get some amazing...

Finally this series starts to make sense to me in the first page and half here, but then once again descends into utter confusion.  There is a sort of moment which sort of looks at the senselessness of war except then it goes right back to making the war seem like a video game.  It occurs to me here that these soldiers have never really been identified.  From their access to comic book style assault craft and action on both land and in the sea it seems like they are special forces, but that is n...
