Yaz? Isn't that a birth control pill? The thought of having these two comedy-heavy actors is a very intriguing development, but is this information real? Only time will tell. The first two films had a great mixture of comedy, action, and sci-fi. It appealed to so many more people than the average science fiction fan, and both films were very successful. Can a third film in this series be as successful as the original two, even though there's been an 8 year lapse between projects? Chances are slim. The series isn't as relevant as it once was.Sony is said to be "officially having conversations" on the threequel. Rumblings peg them eyeing Sacha Baron Cohen (who in all probability won’t have his genitals waving on screen) and Flight of the Conchords' Jemaine Clement as a character called Yaz.
Rumors about this third film have been around for a while, including time travel to when the agency first started, and Josh Brolin stepping into the mix. In the past 6 months, we've seen more and more supposed info about this film, so a third film might actually be a possibility.
What do you guys think? Will Clement and Cohen work well in this film, if this is happening? What would you like to see in a third film?
