Maxie Zeus
Maxie Zeus is a comic book character that first appeared in Detective Comics #483Maxie Zeus was an ordinary human and a gang leader who believed he was the direct descendant of Zeus, the king of the gods. He would create the New Olympians and was a one time lover of the Harpy.
Origin
Maxie Zeus is one of the most respected gang leaders in Gotham City, combining a brilliant organizational mind with the unique monomania that he is actually the incarnation of the Greek god Zeus.
This fixation causes him to plan all his crimes around mythological motifs, as well as maintain an affected speech pattern, which he drops only when in the presence of his daughter Medea.
Formerly a professor of Greek mythology (before he turned to crime) the origin of Zeus' monomania is unclear, as is the name of his wife and the details of their separation.
Zeus concerned himself only with organized crime until the 1984 Olympics, when he assembled a group of super-villains modeled after mythological gods, calling them the New Olympians, in an attempt to coerce a Greek athlete to adopt Medea.
Battling against Batman and the Outsiders Maxie Zeus pitted his New Olympians in hazardous events. However the Outsiders and Batman beat Maxie-Zeus and his cohort,s sending him to Arkham Asylum.

After the first issue he suffers a psychiatric lapse and goes back to running around in his toga agian before Batman knocks some sense back into him.In other Media
