Mauro Entrialgo has worked designing film and albums covers, among other works as an illustrator and designer. He also has worked as a musician and written for TV, cinema and theatre, but he is best known for his comics. His career as a comic author started in Makoki magazine. In 1987 he co-founded TMEO magazine and created his longest running series, Herminio Bolaextra. El Vibora magazine asked him to produce a strip about sex and he created El demonio rojo. That same year he won the Best New Author at Barcelona's Comics Festival. He focuses in comics since he started his series Angel Sefija for El Jueves magazine. He works simultaneously for El Manglar, TMEO and the newspaper Publico.
